The Nature Conservancy, Hawaii Program: Background Information
The Nature Conservancy is an organization working across the US since the 1950s to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends (Aloha United Way, 2020, para. 1). The organization is operating worldwide and has protected 119 million acres of land and 5,000 miles of rivers in various parts of the planet (Charity Navigator, 2019). In conclusion, formulating clear fundraising goals and using multiple funding sources on a local basis allows the nonprofit to achieve success.
