Michael Jordan is one of the seven greatest players ever to play basketball in chronological order. Instead Jordan tried his hand at professional baseball and played for the minor-league Birmingham Barons in 1994. However, this lasted a year before he returned to the court to play for the Chicago Bulls with 17 games left in the 1995 NBA season.
