The main purpose of this project is to showcase all of the information and knowledge that you have acquired throughout the duration of this course. Please keep that in mind as you create your final paper and presentation, and be as detailed and specific as possible.
Each student will choose a Fortune 500 recreation, leisure, or sports corporation (not a team) with the task of investigating the firm’s human resource policies and share what is so special about the organization. What HR policies make them an excellent place to work? Each student will identify and discuss at least five policies from the text and explain how they are implemented by the organization.
PART I: Word Document / Paper
The format of the paper and presentation should be as follows:
Introduction
Overview of the Company
Distinctive HR Policies and Practices that we have discussed in the course and within your text book (Eg. Salary/compensation, discrimination, employee well-being, employee recruitment, employee motivation, performance appraisals, discipline and grievances, communication, etc.)
Include an introduction followed by second-level headings for each policy and/or practice
Implications for HR Practices in other companies (competitors)
Conclusion
This portion of the final paper should be four (4) pages long (excluding the cover page)…single spacing with 1inch margins on top and bottom. Font size is size 12 in Times New Roman.
