For a final project, I have to write a 3-page teaching and learning analysis paper, with references, analyze and describe how knowledge gained from the course could be used to inform their own planning and decision-making as educational professionals in order to maximize their future students’ learning I also have to include strategies I observed and/or implemented during your 10 hours of field experience. I took another course from this professor and had to write a paper on my personal teaching philosophy, I have inserted that at the bottom. For my education course (Exploring Teaching and Learning) we covered several different topics. The course descriiption and learning outcomes were as follows: The study of educational psychology concepts through examination of learning and teaching processes, to apply this knowledge to enhance the learning of all students in various academic settings and contexts. Successful completion of 10 hours of field experience is required. This course required me to do 10 hours of field experience in the grade band(s) for my anticipated certification area, which was elementary (Pre-K through 5th grade). I did my field experience in The Brooks County School System at Quitman Elementary in Quitman, GA.
During the course, there were several discussions of Work Ethics, oriented toward the Early Childhood Care and Education career field. Topics discussed will include: Attendance, Character, Teamwork, Appearance, Attitude, Productivity, Organizational Skills, Communication, Cooperation, and Respect.
