The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost is a 4 stanza poem, about a person walking down a road where there is a diversion with two completely different paths, and they are only able to choose one out of them, Rober Frost presents the universal human issue of making choices and the idea that the choices we make do make a difference and affect our lives as they have an impact on our future and if we make wrong, and careless choices, we will eventually regret it and not be able to go back and change it. so, therefore we must be wise while making choices. Robert Frost personifies the road in the third line of the second stanza Because it was grassy and wanted wear as if the road is human, and that it wants to wear, the use of descriptive words by the poet allows the reader to use their sense of sight such as diverged in a yellow wood it was grassy equally lay in leaves, the image of the road helps the reader visualize the road.
