Introduction
The 21st century is a computer-mediated period, and online contact has changed the lives of millions of people. People are more inclined to voice their worries about the economic, social, cultural, and political aspects of life online than they are to have a productive chat with friends in person. The Internet has transformed a wide range of industries and evolved into the primary medium for international engagement. Users have a place to express themselves freely on the internet. Females in the 1520 age range are particularly vulnerable during this time because of the intricacy of the modern world, where they express themselves online to learn more about the world as they mature.
Research Methodology
This studys logic of inquiry was qualitative. Given that it entailed reviewing hypotheses and assessing data supplied by participants, it was the most suitable approach. The qualitative research revealed information on peoples experiences, attitudes, beliefs, and values. Females between the ages of 15 and 20 were used in the study. They are mainly found in establishments, particularly universities and secondary schools. They are the best people to talk to about the benefits of self-expression for women their age. The knowledge acquired is first-hand, especially if it comes from the participants own experience. It is a theory brought about by how widely and easily accessible the internet is to young people their age.
Results
Since public opinion is mediated, people take it online to express their attitudes and personal experiences. The main advantage to the females of this age group is a platform to voice their concerns, notice, caution, or even spread awareness to the public about issues of public interest. All participants agreed that self-expression strengthens and encourages other teenage girls silenced by the community to speak up. In the questionnaires filled in by a group of random girls of the same age group, they expressed that mediated interaction exposes people to a wide range of information and perceptions. Amongst the participants, some were inspired to express themselves openly online due to several factors.
Conclusion
Online self-expression is possible without taking interpersonal ties into account. Without establishing a connection, strangers will remark to react to the item. When communicating in person, one must establish a rapport with the audience and take into account their circumstances before sharing their opinions. The individual is required to research their history and have a comprehension of their surroundings. In other instances, in order to prevent negativity or violence, one needs to have a deep or intimate relationship with the persons there in order to discuss a topic.
