On July the 3rd, 2022, women rallied through the streets, demanding to be right to commit murder. Such rallies and protests have been happening in Charlotte, NC quite often recently (Roat, 2022). On the uptown walk of July the 3rds rally, a Christian priest attempted to reason with the protestors and preach Gods message to the passers-by. His sincere speeches full of love towards the women, trying to save them from sin and guide them in the Lords hands, deeply touched me. With a justified and long-awaited Supreme court ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade, more people should realize the necessity for such measures.

Banning the barbaric practice of legalized murder in our country was proven to be not enough. Caring for the souls of those women, helping them understand the mistakes they commit, and teaching them to be responsible for their actions are essential for delivering Gods message. Sadly, not only the preacher and his companys prayers fell on deaf ears, but they were also unjustly harassed by the police and eventually detained. The police officers and the protestants were very aggressive towards us; they attempted to argue violently. Such an action toward a caring speaker was done unrightfully as people demanding to kill at will passed by, sowed worry and sadness in me. Official church representatives were absent during the event, which makes me very sad that other Christians do not see this as a major issue. I spent the rest of the event advocating for the preachers immediate release and attempted to convert as many protestors to the will of God.

This event was vital for me, the souls of poor passing women, and every Christian in the world. Winning at politics by overturning Roe v. Wade is clearly not enough to ensure the practice of killing innocent babies is no more. As more pro-choice rallies rise, more Christians need to preach for Gods mercy and salvation for the doomed. People should believe and trust in God more, then their worries and problems will dissipate. When men and women learn to be more responsible for their actions, then their lives and bad situations will get healed naturally. We were created in Gods image, and it is a sin to murder what He designed for life (Slack, 2017). Reminding people of that is necessary, as it is the way He intended for people to exist.

After this event, I have had many opportunities to think about what happened. Ive concluded that many people ignore Christian voices only because they are ignorant of the holy truths. However, in such dire times, it is essential to reach their minds in any way possible and guide them away from committing the worst mistakes in their lives. For that purpose, we must preach not only Gods message but also reason and logic unrelated to our beliefs. For example, according to Greasley (2017), there are ways of proving that abortion is murder without mentioning Gods intentions. Greasley (2017) says that depriving any organism of their future experience and activities they might have in life is immoral. Therefore, reminding people that they exist and enjoy their lives because their parents did not have an abortion should teach them to make the right choices.

By virtue of participating in this event, I achieved a better understanding of the Christian community and the publics attitude towards it. Our voices are ignored; we are being silenced, similarly to the preacher at the event I attended. Police choose to prosecute us instead of a mob of people demanding their right to kill. Telling the truth, spreading the faith, and preaching love and responsibility puts a target on the Christians backs, but we are not scared and will continue saving souls from damnation.
