The main problem is that cities are using too many fossil fuels which is polluting the air and the environment which harms the environment and the animals living amongst it. This happens because the pollution from fossil fuels contributes to climate change, changing the climate to an extent to the animals and plants arent used to it and die. They also might die because their food source might die. For example a cows grass might die and the cow would run out of food and die.

This is a big problem because if the environment dies then we will eventually suffocate from our pollution because at the same time as we are polluting the earth people are cutting clossil amounts of trees every year approximately 10000000000 m2 of forests are cut down every year and eventually all the trees that are providing us air are all going to be gone and we will suffocate in our pollution. Then all living lifeforms will die, so we have to stop using fossil fuels. To build cities you have to cut down trees to make space for the cities.

This affects people because if we pollute the air and are cutting down trees to make more cities which makes more pollution. Eventually most of the trees on earth would have been cut down and the environment would be heavily polluted from fossil fuels. We would choke and die because if there is nothing producing fresh air which the human body needs, our body will stop working. Using too many fossil fuels contributes to sea levels rising which will put many cities under water. Evidence shows that the ice sheets in the South and North pole are melting faster in the last 20 years than in the past 10000 because the human race over using fossil fuels.

You should care because the future generations and the current generation will be affected because, sea levels rising means that the places that were submerged by the affects of the sea levels rising would have to go further inland, which would over crowd cities. This would cause in resources running out faster, because farms would be affected and wouldnt be able to grow any more crops. Then life would become tougher and everyone would die from lack of air. Using too many fossil fuels can change the weather causing extreme heatcold and can cause more rain, thunderstorms, fires, and many more extreme types of weather.

To conclude, if we don’t stop overusing fossil fuels than eventually everyone and everything will die. everyone has to use the alternatives that we already have invented. Stop living in the present and look into the future we can’t restart.
