CX refers to everything an organisation does to deliver relevant and superior experiences, value and growth for audiences. We do this by designing brands, communications and digital that are relevant, distinctive and unique. Human beings rarely explore in straight lines – channel aware design helps make sure we are seen and heard.
Some challenges exist in creating a flowing, logical, natural feeling journey with any organisation or business.
Some may be systems and process driven:
Organisational Data & information “Silos”
Achieving a Customer Centric Culture
Outdated/non-existent Analytics & tech tools
A lack of understanding of the audience needs
An inability to prioritise solutions to customer pain points
But an awful lot of these can be solved with design thinking and creative communications.
NOW you are tasked with taking 3 “channels” and telling a story across them using your brand, visual language and creative choices you have developed so far… and make this the best yet!
The brief
This is a cross channel challenge for the challenge client
Choose a student, parent or university body
Produce 3 separate designs that “connect” the experience and tell the story of the brand, the “why” and its community
– a web page giving a reason to support
– a social post using keywords and images relevant to the audience
– a design using an unexpected media position or placement of your choice
Critical thinking and explorative thought should be displayed
DELIVER
– an overview map of how the elements fit (think mindmap/tubemap)
– an indication, in full colour of what the 3 elements that represent 3 steps by the audience look like using procreate/canva/adobe
