Final Project Directions
For this project, you will answer the questions posed separately. Submit your final paper as a word document or PDF in Moodle only. It is not necessary to upload it into TaskStream. The answers to the individual questions on each slide are found in the themed videos and other sources. The final project should be double spaced and include a title page. Make sure to add all key details and expound where necessary.
 
1. If a friend were to ask you, what would you say is the importance of Instructional Design? After answering, give an example of how ID benefits teachers.
 
 
2. Define the purpose of learning targets and explain the three elements that make a quality learning target. Give an example of how you let students know what the learning target of a lesson is and that the student understands it.
 
 
3. Identify and define the four types of academic targets. Give an example of each target in one of the units you have taught this year.
 
 
4. How would you define your leadership style? Referring to the leadership PPTs in Module 3, what two leadership traits do you consider to be strengths of yours? Which one do you see as an area for growth?
 
 
5. How do you establish a healthy learning environment in your classroom or setting? Give an example of a particular strategy you use to help students gain a sense of belonging.
 
 
 
6. How do you build a strong foundation for student success for students who are at-risk academically? Give an example of a particular intervention you use.
 
 
 
7. What if the difference between a formative and summative assessment? Give an example of each type from assessments you have used as a teacher.  
 
 
 
8. How do you ensure that your instruction matches what is being assessed? Give an example of how you have changed the way you teach and assess to ensure that they match.
 
 
 
9. What are two ways that students can self-assess themselves during formative assessments? Give an example of self-assessment strategy you have used this year.
 
 
 
10. How can you use goal setting to motivate students? Give one example of goal setting that you have used this year.
