For this assignment, choose a well-known character from any popular movie, TV show, or book, or any well-known historical figure, dead or alive, who you believe has a diagnosable psychological disorder as determined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (5th ed.; DSM-5; American Psychiatric Association [APA], 2013).
Using Chapter 14 as a guide, describe the symptoms or information that you have, which support a specific DSM-5 diagnosis, and the proposed etiology of the psychological disorder
Using your textbook’s Chapter 15, describe how a therapist would treat this individual using a specific treatment approach to therapy (e.g., psychoanalysis, CBT).

In your first paragraph of at least 200 words, introduce the character / person and describe their DSM-5 based diagnoses, focusing on the symptoms and the proposed etiology of the presenting psychological disorder/s
In your second paragraph of at least 200 words, describe an appropriate specific treatment (e.g., psychoanalysis, CBT) based on the etiology of the presenting disorder/s and how your hypothetical treatment would proceed (i.e., What would they be like at the end of treatment?)
Your Paper must be at least 400 words in proper APA format with at least THREE/3 PRIMARY sources; one of which can your textbook; in your cited article’s summaries, make sure to include information about the cited study’s main idea, hypothesis, research method, findings, and how the results of the study are relevant or support your thoughts.
All papers you submit in this course must be your ORIGINAL/your OWN work; the use of AI is PROHIBITED in this class.
